DDG, APC Support Groups Council – North Central congratulates Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar Kuso on his appointment as Chairman of Niger Tornadoes Football Club
The Deputy Director General (DDG) of the APC Support Groups Council – North Central, Alhaji Lameen Aliyu, has congratulated the National Coordinator of the Bola Tinubu Support Organization (BTSO), Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar Kuso, on his appointment as the Chairman of Niger Tornadoes Football Club.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the leadership and members of the APC Support Groups Council – North Central, Alhaji Lameen Aliyu described the appointment as well-deserved and a recognition of Dr. Kuso’s outstanding leadership qualities, administrative skill, and unwavering commitment to national development.
The DDG noted that Dr. Kuso has consistently distinguished himself as an accomplished administrator, grassroots mobilizer, and passionate supporter of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through his exemplary leadership of the Bola Tinubu Support Organization.
According to him, Dr. Kuso’s extensive experience in organizational management and public engagement will undoubtedly bring renewed energy, innovation, and strategic direction to Niger Tornadoes Football Club, one of Nigeria’s most historic football institutions.
Alhaji Lameen Aliyu expressed confidence that under Dr. Kuso’s leadership, the club will see improvements in management, stronger youth development programs, enhanced stakeholder partnerships, and increased competitiveness in domestic football competitions.
He further noted that football remains a powerful tool for promoting unity, youth empowerment, talent discovery, economic opportunities, and social cohesion. He urged the new Chairman to use his experience to reposition the club as a model of professionalism, excellence, and sustainable sports development.
The APC Support Groups Council – North Central also praised the Niger State Government for entrusting Dr. Kuso with this important role, expressing hope that his appointment will significantly support the growth of sports and youth engagement in Niger State.
