Governor Umaru Bago Pays Sallah Homage to Emir of Kontagora, Extends Condolences to Families
Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has paid Sallah homage to the Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Muazu II, at his palace.
The governor expressed well wishes to the Emir and appreciated his ongoing support and exemplary leadership.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Bologi, Governor Bago reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the Emir to develop the Kontagora Emirate.
During his visit, he also offered condolences to the family of Maigari Godabe regarding the passing of Alhaji Surajo Noma, praying for Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him entry into al-Jannah Firdaus.
Additionally, the governor extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Alhaji Muhammadu Bawa Rijau over the loss of Hajiya Fatima Bawa Rijau, praying for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
Upon arriving in Kontagora, Governor Bago was warmly received by residents, who gathered in large numbers to welcome him.
