ZULUM VISITS FAMILY OF FALLEN ARMY OFFICER IN MINNA, OFFERS CONDOLENCES.
The Executive Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of late Lieutenant Colonel Abdullahi Saidu Paiko, who lost his life in the line of duty on October 17, 2025.
The visit underscored the governor’s solidarity with the bereaved family and his respect for the sacrifices of security personnel serving the nation.
Governor Zulum who arrived in Minna through the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, was received by Niger State Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation Services Commissioner, Faruk Umaru Audi, Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Obed Nuhu Nana, and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Ibrahim Ahmed Inga.
At the residence of the deceased in Minna, Governor Zulum was warmly received by the widow of the late officer and other members of the bereaved family. The atmosphere was solemn as prayers were offered for the repose of the officer’s soul and for strength and comfort for those he left behind.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Zulum expressed deep sympathy to the family, describing the late Lieutenant Colonel as a patriot who paid the ultimate price in service to the country.
He assured the family that the sacrifices of their loved one would never be forgotten and prayed for peace, and comfort.
