Niger Dep Gov congratulates new PPS to Farmer Governor Umar Bago
The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has congratulated the newly appointed Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, Hon. Emmanuel Umar Bagan, describing his appointment as well deserved and timely.
In a press statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, the Deputy Governor said the appointment of Honourable Emmanuel Bagan is both strategic and critical to the continued success of the administration’s New Niger Agenda.
He noted that the office of the Principal Private Secretary remains pivotal to the coordination of government activities and the effective transmission of the Governor’s policy direction.
“This appointment is not only a recognition of Hon. Bagan’s competence and loyalty, but also a call to greater service. I have no doubt that he will justify the confidence reposed in him by His Excellency through diligence, integrity and commitment to duty,” the Deputy Governor stated.
According to him, Hon. Emmanuel Bagan is an astute administrator, seasoned security expert and respected religious leader with the experience, discipline and capacity required to excel in the sensitive role.
Comrade Garba further expressed confidence in the ability of the new PPS to strengthen the administrative machinery of government and ensure seamless execution of policies and programmes aimed at transforming the state.
“The New Niger Agenda demands focus, coordination and teamwork. I am confident that the new PPS will bring his wealth of experience to bear in driving the Governor’s vision and enhancing service delivery for the overall benefit of our people,” he added.
The Deputy Governor also appreciated the Farmer Governor for finding Hon. Bagan worthy of the appointment, describing the decision as a demonstration of inclusive leadership and commitment to excellence.
He extended gratitude to the good people of Niger State, particularly the people of Shiroro Local Government Area, for their continued support and prayers for the present administration.
Comrade Yakubu Garba called on Hon. Emmanuel Bagan to discharge his responsibilities with dedication and humility, while urging members of the State Executive Council and other key stakeholders to accord the new Principal Private Secretary maximum cooperation to enable him succeed in his new assignment.
