Governor Bago Swears in Commissioners, Chairmen, and Key Officials

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Umaru Bago, has officially sworn in 30 commissioners, 25 elected council chairmen and their vice counterparts, along with board members, urging them to contribute significantly to the realization of the New Niger state development agenda.
The ceremony took place at the Hauwa Wali Multi-purpose Hall within the Government House in Minna. Justice Maimuna Abubakar of High Court 6, representing the Chief Judge of Niger State, administered the oath of office and allegiance to the new appointees.
Governor Bago stated that these individuals were carefully selected based on their impressive track records. He expressed confidence that they will commit their best efforts toward building a sustainable, prosperous, and egalitarian Niger State.
He also emphasized the importance of reflecting on past experiences to guide the state’s future development.
In his address, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, urged the new officials to be dedicated in executing their duties. He highlighted a strategic retreat organized for them to align with shared goals and establish clear expectations.
Among those sworn in are members from the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board, the Secondary Education Board, and the Law Reform Commission.
Some of the newly sworn-in officials expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, vowing to work diligently toward achieving the objectives of the New Niger agenda.
