Governor Umaru Bago Joins President Tinubu at Funeral for Late Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshe.

Niger State Governor Umaru Bago attended the funeral prayers for Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshe, mother of the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, along with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other distinguished figures.
The solemn event took place in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, where attendees gathered to honor her life and legacy.
Governor Bago expressed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and the Plateau State government, offering prayers for the comfort of those left behind.
He urged the APC National Chairman to remain resilient during this difficult time and continue to seek solace through prayer for his late mother.
The funeral was officiated by Rev. Soja Bewerang, Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) Incorporated Trustees.
The gathering included notable personalities such as Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Minister of State for Agriculture Abdullahi Aliyu Sabi, and Barrister Bawa Bwari, Director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency.
Also present were Niger State APC Chairman Aminu Bobi and Special Adviser to Governor Bago on Political Affairs and Strategy, Mohammed Nma Kolo, alongside other stakeholders from the APC party.
Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshe passed away on August 17, 2025, at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, reaching the age of 83.
Her contributions and legacy will be cherished by family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her.
