Etsu Nupe Mourns Aunt, Hajiya Aisha Yannako-Madaki

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has described the death of his aunt, Hajiya Aisha Yannako-Madaki as a great loss to their family, Kin Nupe, Niger and Nigeria in general.
Yannako-Madaki, until her death was the younger sister to the late 12th Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Umaru Sanda Ndayako.
In a condolence message issued in Bidao on Tuesday, the Royal Father described the late Yannako-Madaki as a devout Muslim, a mother of virtue, and a unifying figure who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.
He said her demise was a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Nupe Kingdom, given her role in promoting peace, harmony and community development.
According to Alhaji Abubakar, the late Yannako-Madaki lived an examplary life of service, discipline and humility, which earned her the love and respect of all and sundry in kingdom.
He noted that her death has created a wide vacuum that only Allah can fill, saying that her wise counsel will be greatly missed.
Alhaji Abubakar prayed Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her soul eternal rest Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family and Nupe people the fortitude to bear her loss with ease.
