INEC COMMENCES DISTRIBUTION OF SENSITIVE MATERIALS TO THE 25 LGA OF NIGER STATE.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Niger state has commences the distribution of sensitive election materials to the 25 local government areas of the
State.
The distribution of the materials was conducted under the watch of Heads of Security operatives and the representatives of some of the registered political parties in the state.
The Niger State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Alhaji Yushau Ahmed Garki, who presided over the distribution of the materials,which includes ballots papers and BVAS was optimistic that the exercise will be done successfully since the sharing of the non-sensitive materials was done without any hitch.
HE assured the general public that the election will be conducted peacefully and as scheduled.
The Chairman,Inter Party Advisory Committee Council IPACC,in Niger State,Alhaji Mohammed Bello Maikujeri expresses satisfaction with the conduct.
He stressed that the commission had carried along all the stakeholders since the commencement of the election exercise in the state,pointing out that IPACC would leave no stone unturned to ensure that ,2023 general elections is peaceful and acceptable.
