Niger State Branch of the Nigeria Red Cross gets New Secretary.

A New Niger Branch Secretary of the Nigerian Red Cross Society in Niger state has been appointed.
He is Comrade Abubakar Idris of Limawa Ward in Chanchaga Local Government area of the state.
Until his appointment,Comrade Abubakar Idris was a Disaster Management Officer DMO of Niger state Branch of Redcoss.
Comrade Abubakar Idris has since assumed office as Niger Branch Secretary of Red Cross.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony yesterday,the outgone Branch Secretary,Mister Gideon Adamu Paiko advised the New Branch Secretary, Comrade Abubakar Idris to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his humanitarian duties.
Mister Gideon Adamu Paiko appreciated the executive, members as well as all the volunteers of Niger Branch for the support and cooperation given to him and urged them to extend same to his successor,Comrade Abubakar Idris for him to succeed.
Responding,the New Niger state Branch Secretary of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Comrade Abubakar Idris thanked the chairman of the Niger Branch of Redcoss, Barrister Shehu Imam Danmasani and the entire Governing Board members of the branch for finding him worthy of the appointment and promised to take Niger Branch to greater heights.
Comrade Abubakar Idris promised to justify the confidence reposed in him and work assiduously for the growth and development of Niger Branch.
