Graduate of IBBU, Lapai Launched three inspirational books, called on Society to be supportive

A graduate of counseling psychology from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Hauwa Musa Abdullahi, has published three inspirational books, titled “The Call of the Unknown,” “My Gbagyi Tales,” and “A Man Called Yakubu,” Which was launches at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Center in Minna.
During the ceremony, she explained that she pursued writing as a way to appreciate nature and to honor the talent God has given her.
In “The Call of the Unknown,” Hauwa aims to highlight and celebrate the often unrecognized struggles of men in society. “My Gbagyi Tales” offers a critical examination of certain imaginary beliefs and norms within the Gbagyi culture. Lastly, “A Man Called Yakubu” provides an insightful look into the life of the current Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba.
Hauwa expressed that while writing is an inspiring endeavor, she faced significant challenges along the way, particularly a lack of strong support and cooperation from society.
Dr. Titus Mathew, one of the book reviewers, praised Hauwa for her resilience and courage in writing three books simultaneously, despite the challenges of modern life.
He emphasized the importance of encouraging young people with this type of talent and urged stakeholders in society to provide their support.
At the launch, retired ASP Adamu Abdullahi Yerima, a former council chairman of Shiroro Local Government, commended Hauwa for her achievements and pledged to support her aspirations as a writer, encouraging her to compete with her peers in the field.
Mrs. Micheal Hazo, a member of Hauwa’s extended family, described her as the type of youth essential for societal development and urged her to keep striving in her writing journey.
The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, Hon. Bello Ibrahim at the event and pledged one million naira to support Hauwa’s work.
The ceremony also attracted numerous secondary school students from various institutions.
Writing books offers numerous benefits to individuals, communities, and society as a whole. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and ideas, authors can inspire, educate, and connect with readers, leaving a lasting impact that can transcend time and generations.
