Minna Emirate Youths Honor Dr. Mustapha Jibrin Alheri for His Contributions to Youth Development

The Minna Emirate Youths Association (MEYA) has recognized Dr. Mustapha Jibrin Alheri, the former Commissioner for Health in Niger State and the Sadan of Minna, for his exemplary support of youth development initiatives in the state.
This honor was bestowed upon him during the graduation ceremony for 250 young beneficiaries who completed various skills training programs organized by MEYA at the Emir of Minna’s palace.
Bashir Abubakar, the President of MEYA, commended Dr. Jibrin for his steadfast commitment to empowering youth, particularly in the realms of education and skills development. He emphasized that Dr. Jibrin’s contributions have substantially improved the lives of many young people in Niger State.
In his response, Dr. Mustapha Jibrin praised the association for its efforts in equipping young individuals with entrepreneurial skills. “I am truly impressed with the association’s initiative to provide training in areas such as baking, cat breeding, cobbling, solar installation, and more,” he stated.
Dr. Jibrin expressed his happiness with the positive impact of the association, saying, “I have consistently supported MEYA, and I am delighted to witness the outcomes of their programs.”
He pointed out the innovative approach of the association, which includes providing starter packs and apprenticeship opportunities for trainees to help them become self-sufficient entrepreneurs. “We plan to send them for apprenticeship programs, which will cost about N1 million. I have discussed this with the association’s president, and I will cover the expenses,” he mentioned.
Additionally, Dr. Jibrin praised the administration of Governor Umaru Bago for its dedication to youth development in the state. “The government is making significant strides in supporting youth initiatives, and we are grateful to Emir Dr. Umar Bahago for his contributions to the association,” he remarked.
Other individuals who received recognition alongside Dr. Jibrin include Sheikh Nuredden Lemu, Dr. Musa Manta, Mohammed Yerima, Aminu Ladan, Mrs. Elizabeth Shaba, and Suleiman Ibrahim Kato.
