NSCDC Spokesman Attacked by the Hoodlums, sustained injuries.
Suspected hoodlums have attacked the spokesman of the Niger State command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, DSC Ibrahim Rabiu Muti while returning from work on Friday.
The incident occurred at about 8 pm around federal housing estate Gbeganu in Chanchaga local government area of the state within Minna metropolis, where he was stabbed twice on his stomach.
When contacted, the officer Ibrahim Muti, confirmed the development on telephone to our Reporter in Minna that about 9 of the criminals attacked him inside tricycle after been stopped by two person to board and suddenly they came out of the nearby bush.
He said he was stabbed with knife took away his phone and other valuables while searching one of the hoodlum discovered his uniform trousers and notified others that ‘he is a uniform man, he is a soldier and abandoned him with injuries.
Muti added that it was his uniform trouser that saved him noted that other passengers have dropped remain only him with the rider before the incident occurred, saying that they were carrying knives, cutlasses, dagger and sticks (gorra)
He has been discharged from the hospital and responding to treatment accordingly.
