Gov. Umar Bago felicitates with the Emir of Kontagora as he clocks50 years.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State, felicitates with the 7th Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Alh. Muhammad Bara’u Mu’azu II, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor eulogised the Emir, describing him as a complete gentleman who is committed to the wellbeing of his subjects.
He acknowledged the significant role of the Emir in upholding the long-established values and cultural heritage of the Emirate, which he said have contributed to strengthening of the traditional institutions in the State.
The farmer Governor, who noted that 50 years is a landmark age, and a beginning of another phase of life, appreciated Allah for making it possible for the Emir to attain it.
While assuring the Emir of his administration’s continue support for his Emirate, he prays that Allah will accompany his new age with boundless blessings, good health and wisdom to continue to serve the people better.
