Nasarawa APC Gubernatorial Support Group in London Unveils 13 LGA Coordinators, Prepares for Statewide Organizational Launch
The London-based support group for Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, the APC gubernatorial candidate for Nasarawa State, has announced the appointment of 13 Local Government Area (LGA) Coordinators. This initiative is part of an effort to establish a strong grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made by Hon. Stephen Abraham Narai, Chairman of the Movement and grassroots mobilizer, during a meeting of the State Executive Council.
In a statement signed by Publicity Secretary Emeka Monday Okoye, he stated that the LGA Coordinators will oversee volunteer coordination, community support mobilization, voter engagement, and serve as the link between the Movement and local communities.
Furthermore, the Movement has approved appointments of Ward Coordinators across all 147 electoral wards in Nasarawa State to ensure comprehensive community outreach.
Hon. Joseph Maiwada (Apiro), Director-General of the Movement, emphasized the group’s commitment to complement the official APC Campaign Council through grassroots mobilization, strategic communication, community engagement, and volunteer coordination.

– Awe: Rt. Hon. Hassan Zulkibilu
– Nasarawa: Rt. Hon. Danjuma Odumu
– Akwanga: Rt. Hon. Monday Magaji

The Movement plans to soon unveil its full organizational structure, including Zonal Executives, Ward Committees, and Unit Coordinators, with official inaugurations slated in the near future.
The London Boy Movement congratulated all newly appointed coordinators and urged them to exemplify dedication, discipline, and integrity in pursuit of a united and prosperous Nasarawa State.
Additionally, the Movement’s Executive Committee paid courtesy visits to prominent local leaders in Nasarawa State, conferring leadership titles and expressing support for Wadada’s gubernatorial bid. Notably:
– Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed was conferred the title of Patron of the Movement.
– Alhaji Suleiman Musa Nagogo, Director-General of Nasarawa State Pension Bureau, pledged his full backing, emphasizing Wadada’s importance as a candidate the Movement must deliver.
– Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, reaffirmed his support and commitment to the Movement.
– Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bello was conferred the title of Assistant Grand Patron, pledging to mobilize stakeholders and support Wadada’s campaign.
The Movement remains focused on strategic grassroots engagement and the mobilization of support to ensure a successful gubernatorial bid for Sen. Wadada.
