Langtang South Concerned citizens embarked on peaceful protest over imbalance seat of Federal Constituency

A group of Concerned Citizens of Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State has expressed deepest concern over the continued imbalance in the representation of the Langtang North/South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
Spokesperson for the group Nimven Godbless Dul from Faya ward Langtang south and Senior special Adviser to the Executive Chairman Langtang south in during a peaceful protest frowned at the lopsided representation from Langtang North.
According to him,the people of Langtang South Citizens demand fair and balanced representation in House of Representatives Seat as Tarok sons and daughters .
“We the concerned citizens of Langtang South, have today peacefully assembled to draw the attention of the appropriate authority over the political imbalance in Tarok land .
“For over two decades, leadership of this constituency has largely followed one direction, leaving little room for equitable inclusion”,he said.
Dul stated that ,this prolonged pattern, if unchecked, threatens unity, weakens trust, and undermines our collective progress.
From the era of Victor Rampyal Lar, through the long tenure of Beni Lar, and now to the current representation by Hon. Vincent Venman Bulus—which marks a significant shift to Langtang South.
We believe this is the defining moment to consolidate fairness, equity, and balance.
We therefore firmly state that, in the spirit of justice and democratic fairness, the opportunity to contest and produce the next representative should be allowed to fairly emerge from Langtang South.
As political activities intensify ahead of 2027, the re-emergence of multiple aspirants from the same axis raises serious concerns about fairness, inclusivity, and respect for the delicate balance within our shared constituency.
Our peaceful protest is not a call for division, but a stand for:
Fairness and equity in representation
Inclusive leadership that reflects all parts of the constituency
Unity built on justice, not dominance.
We call on political stakeholders, party leaders, elders, and opinion leaders to rise to the occasion and uphold the principles of fairness and balance in the interest of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
Langtang South is not asking for special treatment—we are demanding what is right, just, and equitable.
Let this moment mark the beginning of a more inclusive, united, and progressive political future for Langtang North/South Federal Constituency.
I want it to indicate that the during which Langtang North has occupied the position From 199 to 2007 ( Sen. Rampyal Lar Langtang south 2023 to 2027 So we deserves more tenures for equity and equality
