Senatorial Aspirant Amanchi Prays for Peace in Plateau State
By Yakubu Busari
The Plateau North Senatorial District aspirant, Hon. Emmanuel Timothy Amanchi, has prayed for the return of peaceful coexistence among the diverse groups of residents in the state.
He said, “Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting Plateau State into Your loving hands. Lord, You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that Your peace reign over every community, every home, and every heart in our land.
“Father, where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is fear, bring comfort; where there is division, sow unity and understanding,” he said.
We pray against all forms of violence and unrest. Let Your light overcome darkness, and let love prevail over hatred. Restore harmony among our people, and help us see one another as brothers and sisters, created in Your image.
Lord, grant wisdom to our leaders and calm to our youths. Guide us to choose dialogue over conflict, patience over anger, and peace over strife.
May Plateau State rise again in strength, unity, and prosperity. Let our land be known not for crisis but for peace, progress, and the fear of God.
We declare peace in Jos, peace in Plateau North, and peace in every corner of our dear state.
