Niger State Governor,Mohammed Umaru Bago, congratulates renowned physician and endocrinologist Dr. Mohammed Abdullahi as he marks another year of life.
In a statement, the governor wishes the medical professional from Koroka, Agaie Local Government Area, a more fulfilled life filled with wisdom and strength.
Governor Umaru Bago also prays that Allah continues to grant Dr. Abdullahi more courage in his mission to impact human lives through providing excellent health services, especially in his specialty of metabolic diseases.
Expressing his gratitude to the celebrant for his tireless service to humanity, the governor states that his administration will continue to benefit from his experience and medical expertise to improve healthcare for the residents of the state.
Umaru Bago recognizes the significant contributions of the celebrant to the development of the state, particularly through his expertise in health, which aligns with the governor’s New Niger agenda.
He reassures the celebrant of his ongoing support as he continues to contribute to nation-building through extensive medical services, leveraging his over two decades of medical practice.
Dr. Abdullahi is the first and only Consultant Physician and Specialist in Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolic Diseases in Niger State history.
He formerly led the Department of Medicine at IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna, and currently practices as a clinician and endocrinologist at FMC, Abuja, while also serving as a Clinical Lecturer at Baze University, Abuja.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullahi is a member of the Endocrine and Metabolism Society of Nigeria (EMSON), the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), the Diabetes Association of Nigeria (DAN), and the Nigerian Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (NACE).
Widely respected, he is also a member of Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria (MDCAN), the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), and the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN). Additionally, he has contributed to health sector reforms in states such as Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, and Cross River.
