ADC Confirms Recognized Local Government Chairmen in Niger State

ADC Confirms Recognized Local Government Chairmen in Niger State

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Niger State Chapter, has officially confirmed the appointment of its Local Government Chairmen across all 25 Local Government Areas in the state.This decision aims to reinforce the party’s structure and ensure effective governance at the local level.

The State Working Committee (SWC) of the ADC announced that the confirmation of these chairmen followed thorough consultations, verification processes, and adherence to the party’s constitution, along with directives from the National Working Committee (NWC).

This initiative is intended to eliminate any confusion regarding unauthorized claims of leadership within the party.

The confirmed Local Government Chairmen are as follows:

1. Agaie LGA – Ishaku Aliyu
2. Agwara LGA – Hussaini Ashiru
3. Bida LGA – Nma Mahmud
4. Borgu LGA – Ibrahim Aliyu Dikko
5. Bosso LGA – Engr. Umar Usman Maikunkele
6. Chanchaga LGA – Yakubu Ladan
7. Edati LGA – Alh. Salihu Ndana
8. Gbako LGA – Isah Abubakar
9. Gurara LGA – Mohammed Alhassan
10. Katcha LGA – Muhammed Ndaba
11. Kontagora LGA – Mohammed Bello
12. Lapai LGA – Musa Wali
13. Lavun LGA – Hassan Mohammed
14. Magama LGA – Ibrahim Garba
15. Mariga LGA – Isah Adamu Tama
16. Mashegu LGA – Nasiru Sani
17. Mokwa LGA – Alh. Saba Yanda
18. Munya LGA – Anthony Francis
19. Paikoro LGA – Mohammed Isah Galadima
20. Rafi LGA – Yusuf Ibrahim
21. Rijau LGA – Umar Aliyu
22. Shiroro LGA – Tanko Galadima
23. Suleja LGA – Hussani Musa
24. Tafa LGA – Abubakar Bala
25. Wushishi LGA – Isah Mohammed Kolo

This confirmation is designed to dispel any misleading information and unauthorized claims regarding leadership within the ADC.

The party remains committed to upholding values of unity, transparency, and democratic integrity.

The statement urges all members and the public to recognize and support the listed chairmen as the legitimate leaders of the ADC in their respective local government areas.

In a joint statement, Hon. Alh. Musa Hassan,ADC State Chairman and ADC State Secretary Alhaji Musa Giwa emphasized their commitment to fostering trust and collaboration within the party.

As the ADC prepares for the future, this move is seen as a crucial step toward strengthening its presence and effectiveness in Niger State politics.
