Governor Bago Launches Groundbreaking Ceremony for 40 KM Mararaban Dandaudu-Gwada-Kuta-Rafinkuka-Zumba Single Carriageway.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago recently officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for a new 40-kilometer single carriageway connecting Mararaban Dandaudu, Gwada, Kuta, Rafinkuka, and Zumba.
This significant infrastructure project was inaugurated at Mararaban Dandaudu, which is located within the Munya Local Government Area.
The road will traverse both the Munya and Shiroro Local Government Areas, enhancing connectivity and reducing travel times for residents.
Governor Bago expressed his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its potential to facilitate easier movement for the communities involved.
Reiterating his administration’s commitment to fostering rapid development throughout the state, Governor Bago highlighted this initiative as part of the New Niger Agenda.
The governor announced that the road project would be undertaken by the same contractor responsible for the recently completed 5-kilometer township road in Munya, ensuring continuity and quality in execution.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa representing Niger State, Emir of Minna Alhaji Umaru Faruk Bahago, and other prominent government officials. Their collective presence underscored the importance of this infrastructure development for the area.
