PDP Ward Executives,Principal Stakeholders in Nassarawa C Decamp to APC in Niger State.

Hon. Mohammed Nma Kolo, Special Adviser on Political Matters to Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, welcomed the PDP ward executives who recently defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Nassarawa C ward of Chanchaga Local Government Area in Niger State.
In his welcoming remarks, Hon.Nma Kolo urged the new members to support and actively campaign for APC candidates in the upcoming local government elections.
He emphasized that the APC, as the ruling party in the state, is open to collaboration with any political group willing to align with Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s vision, which has fostered a positive political climate since the recent gubernatorial elections.
Expressing optimism for those who have switched their allegiance from the PDP to the APC, he encouraged them to embrace their new roles and contribute to the party’s success in the upcoming elections.
Hon. Kolo also called on members of all political parties in the state to set aside their differences and unite in support of Governor Bago as he works to advance the state’s development.
He highlighted the APC’s commitment to inclusivity, stating that anyone interested in joining the party is welcome. Kolo noted that since Governor Mohammed Umar Bago assumed office,he has been supportive to APC local government chairmen and their secretaries,Ward Chairmen and their secretaries who now receive monthly salaries.
Currently, approximately 1,000 individuals are being registered in each of the 25 local government areas, with a focus on enhancing their well-being.
Earlier in his speech, Hon. Idris Masaga Wachiko (ON) from Nassarawa C ward, representing the group “Nassarawa C Bago Again InSha Allah,” stated that the decision of PDP Executive members and Principal Stakeholders to join the APC was motivated by their admiration for Governor Bago’s significant projects across the state.
Hon. Masaga reiterated the new APC members’ strong commitment to campaigning for the party and its candidates ahead of the local government elections and future elections.
Hon. Farouk Umar Audi, Managing Director of NIGROMA and an APC stakeholder, praised the newcomers for their courage and encouraged them to view each other as part of a larger family within the APC.
He urged members of other political factions to consider joining the APC and emphasized the importance of rallying behind all APC candidates in the upcoming elections.
