Tragic Love: Woman Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend to Death in Ondo State.

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the arrest of Augustina Mowari, 36, who is accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Michael Ikuedowoni, following a dispute over infidelity.
The incident occurred on Sunday in Okitipupa, the local government area’s headquarters, when an argument erupted between the couple, which escalated to violence.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olayinka Ayanlade, the suspect used scissors to stab the victim, who later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
“The suspect is currently in custody, and we have launched a thorough investigation into the matter,” Ayanlade stated. “The case will be charged to court once investigations are complete.”
Sources close to the couple revealed that the two had been cohabiting in a one-room apartment and had been experiencing ongoing trust issues. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from Augustina’s suspicions about Michael’s fidelity.
During the altercation, she allegedly stabbed him in the leg. Michael was initially treated at a nearby hospital and released, but his condition worsened after returning home. He was readmitted to the hospital Sunday night, where he unfortunately passed away despite medical efforts
