The leadership of the Organised Labour in Niger State, represented by Comrade Idrees AbdulKareem Lafene of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Arc Ibrahim Gana of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), extends heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day.
They pay tribute to the heroes who fought passionately for the democratic principles and practices enjoyed today.
As we commemorate this significant day, let us embrace the healing power of love, the virtue of tolerance, and the strength found in unity to build a brighter future for our nation.

1. Implementation of the Minimum Wage.
2. Introduction of Wage Awards.
3. Addressing Pensioners’ matters, among many others.

We also take this opportunity to honor those who laid the foundation for the rights and benefits we currently enjoy in the Niger State Organised Labour movement.
We remember the contributions of late Comrade Adams Erena, Ndako, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu OON, CON, Comrade Yakubu Garba, and other veterans whose steadfast support has shaped the Organized Labour Family into what it is today.
