Organised Labour Niger State Extends Condolences to Mokwa Following Devastating Flood.

In a heartfelt response to the recent flood disaster in Mokwa Local Government, the Organised Labour Niger State, led by Comrade Arc Ibrahim Gana, visited the affected areas to express condolences and offer assistance to the victims.
Comrade Arc Ibrahim Gana, the TUC Chairman of Niger State, represented the Organised Labour during a visit to the Palace of the Lile Mokwa, the Sarkin Hausawa, and the Estu Yankpa of the impacted communities.
In a Press release issued to Nigeria Daily Post in Minna stated that the delegation conveyed their sympathies and pledged to support those affected by the tragic flooding.
According to the statement after visiting the palace, the Organised Labour team traveled to key locations such as Tifin Mazda, Ungwan Sarkin Hausawa, and Rabba Village, where the flooding had caused significant damage.
During discussions with the Sarkin Hausawa, it was reported that over 90 bodies have been recovered, with more than 100 individuals still unaccounted for. A survivor shared the heartbreaking story of losing nearly all his family members, with only three bodies recovered.
The delegation also visited the Rabba Community, which suffered considerable infrastructure damage, including washed-away roads and homes.
Community leaders expressed their urgent need for support from the Niger State Government through the Organised Labour.
In response to the community’s plight, TUC Chairman Arc Gana announced cash donations, which were further supported by local government officials.
Comrade Sidi Muhammad Sarkin Samarin Kede, Deputy President of NULGE Niger State, expressed gratitude to the Organised Labour for their solidarity and support.
He reassured the community of Labour’s commitment to their welfare and offered prayers for divine protection and guidance during this challenging time.

The delegation included prominent figures such as Comrade Ndaliman from SSECOEN, Comrade Sidi Muhammad Sarkin Samarin Kede, Deputy President of NULGE Niger State, and representatives from various affiliate unions within Mokwa Local Government.
