Governor Bago Applauds House of Reps Member from Suleja/Gurara/Tafa for Purposeful Representation.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has commended Adamu Tanko Lokoja, the member representing the Suleja/Gurara/Tafa Federal constituency, for his effective representation and commitment to the interests of his constituents.
The Governor expressed his appreciation during a visit to the Government House in Minna, where the Federal Lawmaker, accompanied by some stakeholders from his constituency, came to discuss various issues.
Bago stated that Tanko Lokoja has demonstrated competence, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the lives and livelihoods of his people.
He highlighted that the Federal lawmaker has consistently maintained a positive attitude, both during his time in the opposition party and now that he has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor also acknowledged Tanko Lokoja’s kind gesture toward the Chairmen of the APC in his constituency.
Umaru Bago assured Tanko Lokoja of his continued support and emphasized that under his leadership, no member would face discrimination; everyone would be treated fairly.
He urged the people to prioritize the development of Niger State above any political party affiliation and to partner with him to ensure good governance.
The Governor expressed optimism that Tanko Lokoja’s transition to the APC, along with his supporters, would enhance the party’s value and strength.
In response, Adamu Tanko Lokoja stated that his visit aimed to appreciate the farmer Governor for the warm welcome extended to him and his supporters since joining the APC.
He described Umaru Bago as a visionary leader with exceptional qualities, whose programs and policies have inspired many and fostered a sense of patriotism.
The Federal Lawmaker mentioned that the remarkable developmental strides of the farmer Governor and his desire to align with a results-oriented leader influenced his decision to join the APC.
He pledged to continue contributing significantly to the party, striving to make it a more united force for the benefit of the people.
In an interview with journalists, Tanko Lokoja explained that the kind gestures extended to the Party Chairmen in his constituency were his way of acknowledging and appreciating their support.
Members of the State Executive Council, top government officials, and APC State officials were also present during the visit.
