Commissioner for Justice, Nasiru Mu’azu Strengthening Security Collaboration in Niger State.

In a significant move to combat thuggery and youth restiveness in Minna, Niger State, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Nasiru Mua’zu, has initiated a partnership with the Niger State Police Command.
During a recent courtesy visit to Commissioner of Police, CP Abdullahi Adamu Elleman, Mua’zu expressed his ministry’s commitment to tackling the escalating security challenges plaguing the state capital.
Mua’zu emphasized the importance of public cooperation in providing security agencies with essential information regarding criminal activities.
He urged community members to collaborate with law enforcement to eradicate miscreant activities, stating, “Without vital information from the public on the identity of these miscreants and their hideouts, we cannot expect any magic from the security agencies.”
Addressing the issue of interference in the prosecution of offenders, Mua’zu warned that parents and influential individuals who attempt to obstruct justice will face the full consequences of the law. He reiterated the judiciary’s dedication to ensuring the thorough prosecution of offenders.
In response, CP Abdullahi Adamu Elleman welcomed the Attorney General’s visit, affirming the police’s commitment to work in synergy with the Ministry of Justice to enhance the efficiency of the criminal justice system.
He also highlighted the need for support in training police investigators to improve their performance in handling cases effectively.
This collaborative effort marks a crucial step towards creating a safer environment in Niger State for all citizens.
