Governor Umaru Bago Congratulates NVMA on 2025 World Veterinary Day.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago extends his congratulations to the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Niger State Chapter, on the celebration of the 2025 World Veterinary Day, which takes place on April 26.
In a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor recognized the significant role of the Association in enhancing animal health, agriculture, and the welfare of its members.
He noted that the NVMA Niger State Chapter is being revitalized under the leadership of Dr. Mohammed Santuraki as its Grand Patron, making valuable contributions to the current administration, particularly as it prioritizes the development of the livestock sector.
The Farmer Governor pointed out that this year’s theme for World Veterinary Day, “Animal Health Takes a Team,” resonates with his administration’s commitment to fostering strategic collaborations and promoting professionalism.
He reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to supporting veterinary services, improving livestock infrastructure, and advocating for a One Health approach in the state.
Wishing all members a successful celebration, the Farmer Governor encouraged them to continue serving with integrity, compassion, and excellence for the betterment of the state.
