Comrade Edrees Abdulkareem Felicitates with the Christian Faithful on the Celebration of Easter 2025.
Comrade Edrees Abdulkareem Lafene, State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), and Wakilin Kwadogon Kasan Nupe, extends warm greetings to the entire Christian community on the occasion of Easter.
In his Easter message, Comrade Edrees Abdulkareem Lafene emphasized that Easter is one of the most significant celebrations in Christianity, representing the foundation of the Christian faith.
He highlighted that Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, typically celebrated at the end of Lent—a period of 40 days dedicated to fasting and prayer.
While sending his best wishes to Christians, he urged them to reflect deeply on the meanings of Easter and to uphold its values in their lives, striving to make a positive impact on society.
He encouraged them to take this opportunity to reinforce their prayers for peace and tranquility in Niger State and throughout Nigeria.
Additionally, Comrade Abdulkareem called for continuous prayers for the NLC, NULGE, and the state, so that the labor community may experience lasting happiness and renewed success.
