Nuhu Ango Foundation (NAF) Visits Leprosy Hospital in Minna, Donates Food and Clothes.

From Our Correspondent.

The Nuhu Ango Foundation (NAF) has extended its humanitarian efforts to the Leprosy Hospital in Minna, Niger State, by making a significant donation of food, clothing, and cash to patients and the surrounding community.

Speaking on behalf of the hospital management, the Head of Staff on Duty, Mr. Iliya Ceaser, expressed profound gratitude for this generous gesture.

He highlighted the importance of such visits in uplifting the spirits of patients, many of whom have been abandoned by their families and society.

Ceaser further noted that donations like these provide much-needed relief and promote inclusivity and care for marginalized individuals.

In his remarks, Mallam Bello Umar, the Head of the Leprosy Community, also thanked the foundation for their philanthropic efforts.

He emphasized that the support would greatly improve the welfare of the residents, many of whom struggle to access basic necessities.

Mallam Umar called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to follow the foundation’s example in assisting vulnerable groups.

Earlier, while addressing the gathering, Hajiya Asabe Sule Garba, the wife of the late Professor Nuhu Ango, stated that the visit was part of efforts to keep her husband’s legacy alive.

She explained that Professor Ango was deeply passionate about humanitarian work and always believed in uplifting the less privileged.

Hajiya Asabe reiterated that the foundation would continue to extend a hand of kindness to those in need, stressing that such efforts would alleviate suffering and bring hope to the community.

The visit by NAF underscores the importance of philanthropy in addressing the challenges faced by disadvantaged groups and reinforces the late Professor Nuhu Ango’s legacy of compassion and service to humanity.
