Ramadan: SAF-SHE ENTERPRISE Distributes Food and Cash to the Less Privileged

Niger-based philanthropist Safiya Yaman has launched an initiative to provide food and financial support to 60 individuals in need during the Ramadan period, focusing on the poorest members of the community.
At the launch event in Minna on Saturday, Yaman, who is also a journalist with Prestige FM and the founder of SAF-SHE ENTERPRISE, expressed her gratitude to dignitaries, family, and friends for their support.
She explained that this initiative was motivated by her commitment to assisting the less fortunate, which aligns with the core mission and vision of SAF-SHE ENTERPRISE.
The beneficiaries were selected from various areas, including Maitumbi, Barikin Sale, Kpakungu, Tayi village, and Tunga. Yaman emphasized that the support aims to foster a sense of belonging among those in need.
Malam Chiji Usman, Secretary of the Niger State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), praised the initiative, calling it a commendable effort that should be emulated by others.
Some beneficiaries, including Rabi Shehu and Fatai Babatunde, expressed their gratitude to the founder, stating that the provided food items would be invaluable during the Ramadan period. The distributed items included rice, spaghetti, macaroni, seasoning cubes, salt, tomato paste, and some cash assistance.
