FIRS Commits to Enhancing Economic Revitalization Initiatives in Niger State

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has pledged its support to the Niger State government in revitalizing the local economy through agricultural initiatives.
This commitment was expressed by the Executive Chairman of FIRS, Zacch Adedeji, during a press briefing following a closed meeting with Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, at his office in Abuja.
Adedeji lauded the Governor, who is known for his strong agricultural policies aimed at ensuring food security and fostering industrial growth, referring to him as a pillar of the economy.
He emphasized the longstanding friendship between the FIRS and the Niger State administration.
In response, Governor Bago shared that his visit aimed to congratulate Adedeji on his recent appointment as FIRS Chairman.
He took the opportunity to discuss economic strategies, including the potential for implementing a tax holiday for farmers to enhance food production across the country.
