BOSA Advances Academic, Infrastructure Development Initiatives.

The National and Class Chapters of the Bida Old Student’s Association (BOSA) have unanimously resolved to implement key recommendations from the recent Annual General Meeting, aimed at enhancing both academic and physical development at the school.
This decision emerged from a collaborative post-AGM meeting held in Minna, which involved the National Executive Council and class representatives.
The meeting established a framework to regulate staff and students, outline an infrastructure development roadmap, and ensure ongoing capacity building for staff.
Additionally, a dedicated fund for the college’s development was proposed.
A crucial point raised was the need for the national headquarters to oversee all intervention projects initiated by class chapters to prevent redundancy.
Opening the meeting, BOSA National President, Retired Major General Abdulmalik Halidu Giwa, emphasized the importance of evaluating the AGM to strategize future actions.
Represented by National Vice President One, Alhaji Muhammadu Agwai, Major General Giwa acknowledged the pivotal roles of Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar in these efforts, urging class chapters to remain committed to the association’s mission.
The principal of the school, Mohammed Danjuma, along with PTA chairman, Doctor Yabagi Abdullahi, expressed gratitude to BOSA for its ongoing support and called for further initiatives.
In conclusion, the meeting successfully filled two vacant positions: Engineer Habu Ahmadu was appointed as the National Assistant Secretary General, and Daniel Kolo was named as an Ex-officio member, both sworn in by Barrister Mohammed Gimba.
