Empowerment: Sen. Bello Distributes Starter Packs to 177 Youths and Women in Niger

Sen. Abubakar Bello (APC/Niger) has distributed starter packs to empower 177 trained beneficiaries of his skills acquisition program in Niger State.
The distribution took place on Monday, benefiting participants from the eight local government areas of his Niger North Senatorial Zone in Kontagora Local Government Area.
Sen. Bello stated that this initiative aims to make the beneficiaries economically self-reliant and encourage them to contribute positively to the development of the state.
As the immediate past Governor of Niger State, he reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents by promoting productivity.
“This is part of a broader strategy to foster financial independence and sustainable development across Zone C,” he stated.
Bello also reaffirmed his determination to deliver the dividends of democracy through impactful projects designed to tackle critical challenges in the constituency.
“These projects are a testament to my resolve to uplift the living standards of the people in Zone C. They are not isolated efforts but part of a sustainable development framework that aligns with federal government policies to bridge infrastructural gaps and drive economic growth.”
In response, Mr. Mohammed Yusuf, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for his efforts and prayed for his continued success.
He pledged to make proper use of the starter packs to improve both their own standard of living and that of their family members.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the projects and skills acquired include essential infrastructure upgrades, tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, painting, catering, and poultry farming.
Community leaders and representatives from the eight local government areas under Zone C expressed their gratitude for the lawmaker’s initiatives, describing them as transformative and timely.
