The member representing Bosso Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar S. Gwamna, has reaffirmed his dedication to better serving the people of his constituency.
This commitment was expressed on Sunday during a visit from a joint delegation representing the Bani Water and Unguwar Tukura communities in the Chanchaga ward of Bosso Local Government Area. The delegation paid a courtesy visit to thank him for his support, which included a cash donation for two community mosques.
Hon. Gwamna stated that upon his election, he promised to serve his constituents to the best of his abilities. He emphasized that he has been striving to fulfill this promise and will continue to do so. He recognizes that lawmakers are elected to serve the people and, as such, they must provide quality representation and deliver the benefits of democracy.
He also mentioned that his doors are always open—both at home and in his office—to welcome constituents, listen to their concerns, and provide assistance wherever needed.
Additionally, Hon. Gwamna promised to address the issue of an ambulance that Governor Mohammed Umar Bago had pledged to provide for the Chanchaga Central Mosque. He urged all constituents to continue living peacefully and to support the current administration, led by Governor Umar Bago, for a better Niger State.
Earlier in the visit, Hon. Sa’idu Abubakar Ndakwa, the former vice chairman of Bosso Local Government, who led the delegation, expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for his cash donation to the mosques. He noted that unlike many other political officeholders who distance themselves from their constituents, Hon. Gwamna has consistently engaged with the people and encouraged him to maintain this connection.
Other members of the delegation also expressed their appreciation for the lawmaker’s generosity and offered prayers for his success in all his endeavors.
