Azza Reiterates Commitment to Community Development

The Azza Development Association (ADA) has reaffirmed its commitment to developing and advancing its communities.
This resolution was announced in a communiqué issued after the association’s Annual National Convention, which included key stakeholders, government representatives, and community leaders, held in Ebbo, located in the Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.
According to Dr. Umar Musa Apataku, the Chairman of the Communiqué Drafting Committee, several resolutions were adopted to promote regional development.
The key resolutions highlighted in the communiqué include:
– Prioritizing the education sector
– Adopting modern agricultural practices
– Improving infrastructure, particularly significant routes such as Lapai-Gulu-Ebbo-Muye and ongoing projects like the Gulu-Gupa-Lambata road
– Enhancing water supply and implementing flood control measures to resettle affected communities
– Strengthening health facilities
– Addressing conflict and security issues
– Fostering youth and women empowerment.
The National Executive Council of the Azza Development Association, led by National Chairman Ibrahim A. Mikugi, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the 2024 Annual National Convention.
The association also extends its appreciation to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, Mu’azu Hamidu Jantabo, Abdulberqy Usman Ebbo, Abdul Ebbo, Idris Mohammed Malagi, Dr. Ibrahim Isah (Makaman Ebbo), Idris Musa Vatsa, and Mohammed Musa Kirikpo.
Additionally, thanks were offered to the Etsu Lapai, Azza Dagachis, the Lapai Emirate Development Foundation (LEDEF), Etsu Yaba (FCT Abuja), the Affiliate Associations, and the Azza community members for their unwavering support.
