PASTOR PETEROCK SADIQ HONORED WITH PRESTIGIOUS PLATINUM LEADERSHIP AWARD
The Northern Council of Nigeria, an organization founded by the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto, has conferred the esteemed Platinum Leadership Award on Pastor PeteRock Sadiq, the Resident Pastor of House on the Rock Minna.
The award ceremony took place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Minna, Niger State.
Comrade Ambassador Stephen Bidemi, who led the Executive members of the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria, presented the award to Pastor Sadiq.
In his presentation, Comrade Ambassador Stephen Bidemi praised Pastor Sadiq’s exemplary leadership and ministry, stating, “Pastor PeteRock Sadiq is the future in the present, a very colorful individual and one of the most prominent representatives of our generation.”
He noted that the youth recognize Pastor Sadiq as a mentor and model, highlighting his unique qualities and how his distinctive style of leadership has instilled hope in them as future leaders.
Pastor PeteRock Sadiq, in his acceptance speech, emphasized the importance of teamwork and effective leadership. He remarked that no one achieves success alone and that the reward for doing a good job is taking on more responsibilities.
Addressing the issues of banditry and vandalism in Northern Nigeria, Pastor Sadiq stated, “The presence of more leaders, teachers, and mentors will help redirect the energy of the youth, channeling it toward better opportunities and ultimately fostering development in the state and the nation.” He underscored the necessity for collective efforts to tackle the challenges facing Northern Nigeria, saying, “Anyone who walks alone is merely taking a stroll, but every leader has a great team behind them.”
The award ceremony was attended by dignitaries from across the region and marked a significant milestone in Pastor Sadiq’s ministry, demonstrating his commitment to empowering the youth of Northern Nigeria.
The Northern Council of Nigeria’s decision to honor Pastor Sadiq with the Platinum Leadership Award reflects his dedication to promoting positive change in the region. His leadership and ministry have inspired countless young people to strive for excellence and work toward a brighter future.
Pastor PeteRock is also the convener of SHOUT, having successfully hosted the 2024 edition of the event, which welcomed numerous esteemed guests, including the Governor of Niger State and five distinguished senators, and attracted over 35,000 attendees.
