Niger l State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed his sympathy for traders at Gwari Market in Minna following a fire disaster that destroyed many shops and goods worth millions of Naira.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago described the incident as unfortunate and heart-wrenching. He expressed sadness and pain for anyone who loses their source of livelihood, particularly during this economically challenging period.
The Governor extended his deepest sympathy and concern to those affected by the fire. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith, reminding them that the Creator, who allowed this incident to occur, is capable of replenishing all that they have lost.
Governor Bago directed the relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to take immediate action to determine the cause of the incident to prevent a recurrence, as well as to provide relief to the victims.
He reassured the people that his administration will continue to prioritize issues that affect their well-being.
