Farmer Governor Umaru Bago Reaffirms Commitment to Complete All Projects Initiated by His Administration

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has reassured constituents that all projects initiated under his administration across the state will be completed to fulfill their intended purposes.
He made this statement in Enagi, the headquarters of the Edati Local Government Area, during his ongoing statewide project monitoring tour.
The Farmer Governor commended the contractor responsible for the 5 km township road in Edati for the quality of the drainage work but urged him to accelerate the road construction process.
While addressing residents and stakeholders in Edati, Farmer Governor Umaru Bago informed them that additional projects will be launched for their benefit and promised to monitor their progress regularly.
The Bima Enagi, Alhaji Muhammad Yusuf, praised the Farmer Governor for his remarkable achievements in less than two years of his administration, particularly in the agricultural sector. He announced that Edati will provide 15,000 hectares of land to Niger Foods to support the state government’s agenda of feeding the nation. In recognition of his efforts, the Bima Enagi bestowed the title of Makaman Edati on the Farmer Governor.
In Kutigi, the headquarters of the Lavun Local Government Area, Farmer Governor Bago expressed disappointment with the slow progress of the 5 km township road project in the area. He gave the contractor a two-month deadline to expedite the project, reminding him of the government’s policy against any variation or compromise.
The Farmer Governor also revealed plans to construct roads linking the communities of Nagya, Sakpe, Kantigi, Gonagi, Gbara, Kutigi, and Dabban. He urged the people of Lavun to continue engaging in farming activities, as tractors and other modern equipment will be provided to enhance productivity.
Both the Ezenuwan Kutigi, Muhammad Kudu Ibrahim, and the Chairman of Lavun Local Government, Isah Mohammed, praised the Farmer Governor, especially for his efforts in peacefully resolving communal conflicts and other achievements.
