Fulani Communities Applaud Farmer Governor Umaru Bago’s Inclusive Style of Governance

Fulani communities in the Niger North Senatorial District have commended Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for his inclusive approach to governance, which has fostered peace and development in the state.
The representatives of the Fulani communities, led by the Commissioner for Pastoral and Nomadic Affairs, Umar Sanda Rabe, expressed their appreciation during a recent audience with the Governor in Kontagora.
They thanked the Farmer Governor for prioritizing their well-being and establishing the Ministry of Nomadic and Pastoral Affairs, which they viewed as a significant step toward addressing their needs and concerns.
The representatives also praised the Governor’s efforts in effectively managing farmer-herder clashes, highlighting his initiatives to promote peace and understanding among the state’s residents.
They emphasized that managing the relationship between herders and farmers is crucial for maintaining harmony and supporting their livelihoods.
In his response, the Farmer Governor thanked the Fulani communities for their patience and assured them that his administration would continue to involve them in governance.
He encouraged them to maintain peaceful coexistence in order to foster growth and development in their communities.
