FG approved immediate upgrade of key health infrastructure across six geo political zone

The coordinating Minister of health and social welfare, professor Mohammed Ali Pati has said that the immediate upgrading of key health facilities was to provide people with health needs in the zone.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 46th AGM of the association of Nigeria private practitioners held in minna, Professor Pati said the up grading has commenced.
He further said that President Tinubu has given his approval of key health infrastructure and equipment in line with his administration vision of overhauling the health and social welfare for enhanced service delivery.
President Tinubu who spoke through the medical director of federal medical Center Bida,Dr Usman Abubakar affirmed that the unrelenting commitment of the present administration in transforming the health care system to attained universal health coverage for Nigerians.
The Minister explained that with ongoing expansion of health sector insfrastructure, Nigerians will soon begging to see major changes in the Heath sector.
He explained that becomes of this development many medical professional abroad will return to Nigeria.
He said that the goal of health policy under the administration of President Ahmed Tinubu is to improve governance, provide efficient and enhance health services, drive investment in health care and enhance health security for Nigerians.
He explained that in line with the federal government to promote growth in the use of locally manufactured health related products and medical consumable will be encouraged.
The minister also said that in his capacity as a coordinating minister of health and social welfare he has mandated all Tertiary health institution to embark on electronic medical record keeping.
