BITCOBA Visits National President Appointed as Special Adviser On Diaspora, Kano State
Bida Teachers College Old Boys Association have paid a courtesy visit to their National President, Hon Abdulhameed Danladi in Minna recently.
The visit was aimed at congratulating the National President on his recent appointment as the Special Adviser on diaspora to Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf .
The Leader of the delegation Mallam Tanko Iko who doubles as the Zone B Chairman of Bida Teachers College Old boys Association, said their visit was to identify with the Former Niger State Information Commissioner on his appointment as the Special Adviser on Diaspora to Abba Gida-gida of Kano State.
He expressed appreciation to the Governor for finding their member worthy of appointment to serve the good people of Kano State
While describing the appointment as a kind gesture capable of cementing the long existing relationship between Kano and Niger States, Mallam Dauda urged him to see his appointment as a Clarion call to serve the good people of Kano state with dedication and selflessness.
He further tasked the Special Adviser to continue in maintaining the good conduct which he and the people of Niger state have been known for and which according to him, earned him the appointment.”I want you to use your wealth of experience and position for the development of the School, let the School feel the presence of Kano State Government, particularly in the area of infrastructural development ” Iko added.
In his speech, the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Diaspora, Hon Abdulhameed Danladi thanked the delegation for the visit and implored them to serve as his kitchen Adviser specifically on his appointment.
“As School mates you can be of immense help to me in order to succeed in this task before me, you can advise in the area you might have seen me go wrong in the discharge of the responsibility bestowed on me by the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, doing so will help a great deal in achieving desire results” He appealed.
Abdulahameed then used the forum to appeal to the Farmer Governor of Niger state to expedite action towards completion of Minna – Bida road adding that doing so would curb the increasing suffering being experienced by commmuters plying the road.
