Traditional title holders in Maikunkele tasked to carry their People along.
Farmers and Herdsmen in Maikunkele and it environs have been enjoined to live together in peace and also be their brothers keepers.
The call was made by the Hakimin Maikunkele, Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi Dada while delivering his speech at the turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Adamu Dada as the Ward Head of Federal housing estate, Senior quarters Maikunkele, Minna. Which took place at Hakimin Maikunkele Palace.
Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi Dada said there is need for farmers and herdsmen in the area to continue with the peaceful co-existence that exists since the era of their grand fathers and to desist from taking law into there hands.
He then commend the role Vigilantee corps members are playing in the area of provision of security to the community, stressing that “with presence of vigilantee in Maikunkele and it’s envorons insecurity have reduced to it nearest minimal”.
He assures them of His continuous support to enable them carry out their legitimate duty without hindrance.
Earlier in his welcome address the Dagacin Kpango, Alhaji Nuhu Abdullahi Dada tasks traditional title holder who were turbanned to ensure they always carry their people along in decision making and make sure they foster unity among them.
The Dagacin Kpango, Alhaji Nuhu also use the forum to call on the Farmer Governor, Rt Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago to look into the high cost of fertilizer by making it affordable and available at the grassroots to boast farming activities in the state.
Those who were turbanned today 2/03/2924 are as follows, Alhaji Adamu Dada, the Mai Anguwan Federal Housing Estate, Senior Quarters, Maikunkele,Mal. Aminu Tanko Ma’aji, the Wakilin Kpango,
Mal. Rabo Kafinta as Sarkin Yaki Kpango and Hajiya Asmau Umar as Sarauniyan Kpango.
