Insecurity : Gov. Umaru Bago reaffirms commitment to security lives and property of Citizens.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has reaffirmed his commitment to the security of the lives and property of the citizens of the state.
Governor Umaru Bago who stated this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, explained that the government is working tirelessly to bring an end to the menace affecting some parts of the state and improve on the general security of the state.
The Governor said the Government is not unaware of the insecurity confronting its people, emphasizing that the safety and well-being of the citizens is topmost in its priority and measures have been taken to end criminalities in the state.
According to him “My people, I am deeply concerned with the security situation in some parts of the state, it is a collective pain. My government is not resting on its oars in making sure lives and property are protected adequately in the State”.
He acknowledged the sacrifices of the conventional and non-conventional security operatives in addressing the situation and urged them to redouble their efforts, assuring them of the government’s unflinching support.
While encouraging the people to keep faith in God and his administration, the Governor assured the people that evil will never overcome good, and there shall be light at the end of the tunnel.
