Magama local Govt. Council Commence distribution of Palliatives to various Polling units in the area.
Magama local government Council of Niger State have commenced the distribution of Palliatives to various wards in compliance with the directives of the Governor Mohammed Umar Bago.
The Executive Chairman of the council,Alhaji Safiyanu Yahaya while monitoring the distribution,warned Ward and Polling units committee members to abide by the sharing formula as agreed upon and to have fear of God in carrying out the task bestowed on them.
The Chairman, warmed that any person found diverting the commodities shall be made to face the full wrath of the law.”i want to bring to your notice that His Excellency Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has vow to deal decisively with any person found diverting the commodities”, hence you must discharge your duty with caution and sincerely.
He then appealed to them to adhere strictly with the templete designed for the distribution of the Items to various Polling units across the Local Governments areas, according to him it will make their work easier and acceptable.
Among items distributed to various Wards are rice,maize,spaghetti and indomine noddles.
The Chairman said, now that the distribution have fully commenced there is need members of the Committees to ensure that all household in the local government area are capture in the exercise,assuring that the exercise will not end till all households receive their palliative.
He further disclosed that people should feel free to approach him with any complain, adding that his office will remain open to receive Report in respect of the distribution exercise.
