COMMISSIONER GIVES 48 HOURS MATCHING ORDER FOR ALL WATER WORKS TO FUNCTION.

Niger State Commissioner of Water Resources and Dams Development, Yahaya Alhassan Gwagwa, has directed that all water works in the urban areas of the State should commence work immidiately.
The Commissioner gave the order while addressing Staff of the ministry when he assumed duty as Commissioner after his swearing in on Monday by the Governor of Niger State.
The Commissioner charged staff to always discharge their work professionally adding that there would be no room for laxity,while urging them to be diligent and dedicated to work.
The Permanent Secretary Akilu Musa Kuta, expressed delight that the Commissioner is a man of action, pointing out that provision of water to the populace is a task the state governor Hon Umar Bago want to accomplished adding that one of the basic necessity of life is water.
Akilu Musa Kuta then charged staff of the ministry to intensify efforts in doing the right thing professionally as they awaits State government interventions through funding.
The permanent Secretary further disclosed that henceforth, staff promotion will be base on their performance and results .
