Estu Nupe turbans JAKADAN LABARI NUPE, tasked him to be Fair.
Etsu Nupe,,Alh Yahaya Abubakar has turbaned a veteran journalist, as Jakada Labari Nupe, Alh Mohamed Baba Busu popularly known as better life,the zonal manager North Central of the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) at wadata Palace Bida last Saturday.
Also turbaned is Col, Alhassan Mohamed Majin as Kakaki Raba Nupe,Etsu Nupe said the turbaning of the two distinguish personalities was in recognition of their contributions to the entire people of Bida Emirate which is the qualities required to qualify as a title holder in the Emirate.
The Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar who is also the Chairman Niger state traditional council, said the reasons why the Emirate is given out various traditional titles is to enhance peace and harmony amongst the people and to forster unity amongst Nupe Kingdom.
“We have gathered here today to honour our own who have contributed in one way or the other for the development of this domain and have explore ways both within and outside performing wonderfully well in their respective endeavors interms of commitment and dedication for the prosperity of the entire Emirate”.
The Emir urge them not to relent in promoting the peaceful co-existence amongst the Communities by inculcating in them the act of vigilance as a way to curtail the influx of criminals in the Communities.
According to the Emir, “inspite of the bad road of Minna to Bida the mammoth crowd of dignitaries who are here at the palace indicates the Love his freinds and associates have for you as you impacted in the well-being of your various Communities,I commend you for living up to the expectations of your people.”
The traditional ruler was optimistic that they will not fail in their various responsibilities ahead of them to justify the confidence reposed on them,stressing that they should uphold truth and fairness to excell among the different ethnic and religious group in their Communities.
Responding the Jakada Labari Nupe,Alh Mohamed Baba Busu thanked the Etsu Nupe,Alh Yahaya Abubakar for the honour done to them While assuring him to promote the legacies of the Nupe Kingdom within and outside the Emirate.
