OLD NAIRA NOTES STILL VALID IN NIGER STATE .. Says SSG,Matene.

Justi in: Niger State Government has directed the Nigerian police force and all the security Agencies in the state to arrest any person who refused to accept  old naira notes  for any transaction.

In an interview with Limamin Tsalle Daya, The Secretary to the Niger state Government Ahmed Ibrahim Matane stated that the old naira notes are  still valid and any person cought refusing to collect while causing  unnecessary hardship to the citizens shall be arrested and prosecuted.

He further urged Nigerlites to go about their lawful business and to report any person who refused to accept the old naira notes to any Security agencies in the State for necessary action.
