Eleven Passengers Died in a fatal Motor Accident along Mokwa road in Niger state.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed the death of 11 persons in an accident that occurred at Kudu village, Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State in North Central Nigeria.
The Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission Mr Kuwar Tsukwam, confirmed that the incident occurred at the early hours of Monday.
Tsukwam further said that eleven other passengers were severely injured in the accident involving a Toyota commercial bus which was coming from Lagos to Kaduna State and a truck conveying cows heading to Lagos State.
“At about 3.30 am a trailer conveying cows heading to Lagos State had a head on collision with a commercial bus coming from Lagos heading to Kaduna state” Tsukwam said.
The Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), however said that the victims who sustained injuries were taken to General Hospital Mokwa for treatment while the eleven corpses were deposited at the Federal Medical Centre Mortuary Bida.
