Beer vendors in Niger state have been warned to desist from operating on a joint license or be prosecuted if cought.
The New Chairman of Liquor licensing Board, Mallam Abdulkadir Bala Ubandoman Kagara who just assumed office recently, disclosed this to Newsmen in an interview in his office.
The Chairman Alhaji Abdulkadir mentioned that it has come to their notice that some Beer parlour operators in the state are operating on a Joint license platform which according to him is against the condition of their operation.
He warned those jwho are on a joint platform to come forward to the board for clarification and if possible for separation of the license.
The Chairman further warned those operating in proscribed area to desist or shall face full wrath of law if cought.
He added that the law which prohibits sales and consumption of liquor in unlicensed area is still in force and any person cought would be made to face full wrath of the law.
