National Examinations Council NECO releases 2023 SSCE External Results, Launches e-Posting.

National Examinations Council NECO has released results of Nov/Dec 2023 Senior Secondary Certificate Exermination (SSCE) External.
The Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim in his speech while releasing the result said, the SSCE external is designed to cater for candidates seeking to remeiate their results to enable them gain admission into various tertiary institutions within and outside the country.
According to him a total of twenty nine (29) subjects were exermined,
with 50,066 representing 67.35% candidates scored credits in English and mathematics.
The Registrar/CEO, Prof. Dantani stated that 62,530 candidates representing 84.11% scored credits irrespective of subjects.
He mentioned that a total of 74,950 candidates registered for the examination consisting of 39,213 (52.31%) male and 35,737 (47.68%)
female candidatescandidates, adding that 8,518 candidates were booked for various forms of examination malpractice against 2022 with 11,419 candidates indicating a decline by 25.4%.
He stressed that the Exermination Malpractice cases for 2023 SSCE External includes two centers, one in Kaduna and Ogun States involved in two center cases.

Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi then use the forum to launch the Automated Annual Posting Calendar which is the e-pisting Software that is designed to address the myriad of problems associated with Posting of the council’s staff for Out-of-Station assignments.
He said with this development posting of staff for various assignments which was greeted with lot of complaints arising from lopsidedness, and favoritism which gave rise to serious agitations would be addressed and also address some of the challenges associated with the manual processes.
