NCoS ZONE ‘D’ HEADQUARTERS DECORATES 25 SENIOR OFFICERS WITH NEW RANKS:
In line with the directive from the Controller General of Correctional service, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Haliru Nababa, FICMC, MFR, mni for all Correctional formations to officially decorate newly promoted senior officers with their new ranks, the Assistant Controller General and zonal coordinator Zone’D’headquarters, Minna, ACG Ubaike Anthony Osita decorated no fewer than 25 senior officers recently elevated to various ranks in the zone.
The epoch made ceremony which took place Tuesday,9th January,2024 at the zonal headquarters office in Minna was graced by very important personalities including the zonal coordinators of NSCDC, NIS and other religious leaders.
In his address, the zonal coordinator Zone’D’headquarters ACG Ubaike who was represented by the controller HR CC Silvanus Yakubu applauded the the dynamic leadership of the CGCS Haliru Nababa and the Honourable Minister of interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo for the approval of Promotion of over 5000 personnel to various ranks in the 2023 promotion exercise.
ACG Osita stated that the magnanimity has boosted the Morales of officers and men of the service.
He therefore, urged the beneficiaries of the promotion to redouble their efforts towards effective and efficient service delivery as according to him, “to whom much is giving, much is expected and that promotion is not only an elevation, but additional responsibility.
He further congratulates all those promoted and others not so lucky to continue to support the present leadership for the overall best of the service and the country in general.
In their separate good will messages, the controller of Corrections, Niger State command Mohammed Hamisu Isa fdc, the zonal coordinators from the sister agencies, advised the newly promoted officers to rededicate themselves to duty with hardwork, loyalty commitment and discipline in discharge of their national assignment.
ACC Umar Mohammed sanda who gave a vote of thanks on behalf of other promoted officers appreciate the Controller General of Correctional service Haliru Nababa, FICMC, MFR, mni for finding them worthy of the elevation and assured that they will not let the service down.
He further thanked all those that came in rejoicing with them in their joyous moment.
